It is a fruit driven wine framed by the addition of a small amount of Pine tree resin during frermentation. The pine flavour is disticive and works well with the fruit. This wine is extremely popular in Greece and nearly every holiday maker that has made the trip to Greece will have at some point tried this wine. Ideal with Greek food - hence the 4000 year heritage of this wine.
