Over six months I have had the Oak Leaf Vineyards wines listed on my site. This is my biggest wine on my site. When I first started this site I thought Two-Buck-Chuck was the best wine under $4.00. I may be wrong. The responses from all you visitors have been all positive. I do not think I have one negative comment on Oak Leaf Vineyards. Let’s let the challenge begin. Tell us what you thing of th taste between the two, the occasion you enjoyed or hated it, or what your guest thought about it.

Cheap Wine Critics Remarks: This Oak Leaf Vineyards Chardonnay / Pinot Grigio was very decent. We thought it was similar to other low priced pinot grigio’s. The aroma of this wine was a sweet and fruity, while the flavor I detected was of apple with a slight sour aftertaste. Kinda like a Washington green apple.

Oak Leaf Vineyard:

At the prestigious Florida State International Wine Competition this month, a new brand, Oak Leaf Vineyards from California, has won gold. With 84 wineries competing in Chardonnay category, only four received gold medals and Oak Leaf was the biggest bargain by far, at $1.97 suggested retail price in California and $2.97 in most other states.

Great Cheap Wine:

If you have come this far than I am guessing you have indulged in this great opportunity. There are other cheap wines that are out there that are exclusive to supermarkets. These are a couple of examples from Food Lion. Please comment on them if you can.
