This wine was dark. So dark my teeth were purple for about 4 hours. I purchased it at Food Lion. I noticed how many different grapes was used, so I had to try it. Soothing aroma with a extreme tannins. First feeling is like your mouth runs completely dry. After the glass has sat for a few minutes that calms a lot. The taste of chocolate hides in the background with strong flavors of blackberry. I purchased it for $8.99.

Came upon a bottle of this wine while browsing the selections at Fry’s Grocery one day. Mondavi wines are pretty good, so I thought I would give it a try since I’m a Bordeaux fan. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and smoothness of this wine. For an inexpensive wine, the cherry and blackberry taste was very good, and the mild tannins gave way to a smooth finish. Definitely a recommended choice when dining with friends, or just hanging out and enjoying some good wine!
