Wine Maker’s Remarks: Intensely fruity with deep aromas of ripe raspberry and black cassis subtly highlighted by notes of leather and peppery spice. A finely structured full-bodied wine showing lots of fruit. It is both elegant and complex with a lengthy finish.

Solaz is produced by one of the most prestigious winemaking families in Spain, the Osbornes. Founded by Englishman Thomas Osborne Mann in 1772, the company is now managed by the sixth generation. The estate and vineyards, in the heart of Spain, are one of the most ambitious in Europe, covering an area of more than 2,500 acres.

Solaz is distinctively Spanish in style. At 80%, Tempranillo dominates the blend, with the Cabernet contributing to the wine’s overall structure.
