Perrin and fils reserve

Perrin and fils reserve is a great bottle for under ten bucks. It’s very fruit forward for a Rhone wine. Lots of berry’s on the palate with soft tannins. The southern Rhone region of France is seeing a bit of a boom right now so the prices are starting to reflect that. This wine has managed to stay at a great price. I believe this wine is all granache but I could be wrong. This is red that won’t hold up to a steak, but a great red for a chicken or pork meal. I mostly drink French wines( especially Rhone) and I think for some starting to jump into wine it’s a nice start.

Charles Shaw TW0 BUCK CHUCK 2002

My father-in-law Perry purchased a bunch of Charles Shaw Two Buck Chuck some in 2003. The bottles are all 2002 vintage. We drank them back then and they were what we thought were more than decent. Now today Feb 20009 he decided to indulge us at his house for dinner and opening a bottle of 2002 Charles Shaw Two Buck Chuck. Now this bottle was stored in air conditioned space and properly stored in a horizontal positioned. The wine seems to have little tannins and very pretty corkey. We want to know if you have had an experience with two buck chuck older vintage and what you think or thought of it.!!

Oak Leaf Vineyards 3L 3 LITERS

HOLY MOLLY!! Oak Leaf Vineyards $2.97 wine as upgraded to a larger bottle or should I say Box!! I was looking for some items at my local Walmart when I ran Across some Godly!! A 3 Liter box of Oak Leaf Vineyards Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon in a 3 Liter Box. Now if you know anything about box wine, then you know you can keep most box wine for over a month. If you dont drink 3 Liters a month maybe this is not the site for you!! :) I say Tell me what you think about the box wine. Let me know how long it had been in your fridge open and if it is still good. It is a great wat to spend $10.00.

Final Blend Merlot Napa Valley 2005

Tasting notes: Quite rich and flavorful, with layers of currant, black cherry, anise, cedar and toasty vanilla-scented notes, finishing long and detailed. Soft and luscious on entry, with bright, almost sweet flavors of ripe stone fruit. The medium weight and stylish finish are typical of Napa Valley’s finest Merlot.

Bosco Montepulciano D’Abruzzo 2003 Italian Red Wine

Wine Makers Notes: Noble and typical product of Abruzzi, ruby red color with light purple nuances, tending to orange with aging in oak barrels for 12 months, and resting for 30 months in bottles. Mild, agreeable wine scent, dry, soft flavor.
